Scenario:
As a society, we tend to consider development to begin at our time of birth (our birthday). From our course work, we now know development begins in the womb. Consider you are a medical professional at our local hospital, from these two Ted Talks, National Geographic’s two videos and our text, offer 3 pieces of advice (at least one for the non-pregnant parent) to a pregnant client couple that might help them better understand the importance of healthy fetal development in relationship to the child’s healthy life span development. Make sure to include both advice for BOTH parents.
Include in your response the following:
1. Define nature in connection to psychology. What part does nature play in our development in the womb and throughout the lifespan? Be specific and consider the 3 domains of developmental psychology (physical, cognitive and social).
