What you will submit: Your final project consists of a poster and your sources.
1) Final Project will be submitted as a poster.
Content of your poster should include the following elements:
a) Introduction: State terrorism as a global issue and provide some background/history about this problem. The introduction should make it clear as to why this problem is significant and global in nature. (Three sentences maximum)
b) Examples: Provide multiple examples that illustrate terrorism as a global problem. We suggest you use 2- 3 examples to show different aspects of the issue in order to show the global aspect of the problem and how the issue works in different contexts/environments/societies. (Four sentences maximum)
c) Solutions: Identify solutions for this problem. The solutions must be feasible, specific and, in most cases, actionable. In addition, the solutions should consider scale: include one large-scale (government or supra-national organization action) solution, one society-wide solution, and one small-scale (individual) solution. (Three sentences maximum)
2) Your poster will need to be created by using a minimum of five academic sources. Primary literature, review papers, textbooks, governmental or university webpages, and certain NGO websites can be used as academic sources if the information on the website can be sourced itself.
a) **Important**: You must number your sources and indicate where each source was used in your poster with superscripts. For example: If your sixth source was a fact sheet from the WHO, you would place a superscripted 6 at the end of each sentence, bullet point, or figure in your poster that used information from that source. This requirement differs from the example posters provided on blackboard.
b) The list of sources should follow either APA or Chicago style formatting and can be submitted as a separate word document if it cannot fit on the poster itself.
c) Make sure to cite any web images as well
