1. Describe your results from the VIA -what are your top five character strengths? if you have taken any other strengths-based assessment (like strength finders) describe your results. Reflect on your results. Do they make sense to you? Ask others who know you well if they see these strengths in you.
2. Pick a couple of your top strengths. How are you using these strengths at work and/or in life? Describe any times when you have overused your strengths.
3. How can use increase the use of your top strengths in your work or life? Develop a specific plan with action steps for increasing your usage of strengths.
4. How can you help others (your direct reports, peers, others) use their strengths? Whether they have taken a formal assessment or not, you should be able to identify the strengths in others. When do they seem most engaged and energized? How can you use this knowledge to make their lives and their work better?
