This is a combination research and posting assignment.
The assignment is to research people or brands that are relevant to your field, then create a list post on
Medium.com and share links to that article on Facebook and Twitter.
More specifically, this assignment has three steps:
STEP 1: Research
Find 5 people or companies that are important in your field on social media(about fashion/clothing). This means more than just people
who are known or famous. Rather, it means that these brands are active on social media, sharing news, content, or other information that is relevant to your field and/or areas of your audience’s interest.
STEP 2: Write a List Post
Using Medium.com, create a list post that includes these brands that you have found.
This should be more than just a bulletpointed list. This is an actual article intended for public consumption. As such, complete the following steps:
Write an introduction that sets the context for the list.
Then write the list, and include some information about each brand that you’re sharing.
Also include imagery where appropriate within the article.
Finally, conclude the list with a summary or your intended takeaway of why this list is relevant.
Publish this list on Medium.
STEP 3: Post Links on Facebook and Twitter
Once the article is published on Medium, create a post on Facebook and on Twitter that promotes the article. (Instagram is not necessary for this assignment). Be sure to include a strong piece of media to accompany the posts, and also use appropriate tags and hashtags.
When you are finished, take a screenshot of each of your social media posts and then upload these.
