Identify an organisation that has direct or indirect involvement with international business, e.g. an exporter, a MNE, or a domestic business with international suppliers. You will select an organisation of your choice and search for information from online sources or talk to the owner/ manager of the organisation (or a supervisor or part of a self-managed team) for insights on the organisation’s global business strategies and decision-making.
The main purpose of this assessment is for you to critically analyse
• the firm-specific advantages (FSAs) of the organisation,
• what home/host country location advantages contribute to their FSAs,
• how the Covid-19 impacted the sources of their FSAs and
• what are your recommendations.
