My topic is (Down Syndrome)
A. Write a 3-page paper (not including title, abstract, or reference page) about this topic to learn more about it and to enlighten your classmates.
B. Format your paper like a college paper in the APA style. See: https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/560/01/
C. Present an introduction to the topic. How common is it? What are the symptoms? What is the treatment/cure?
D. Include introductory and concluding paragraphs.
E. Include at least a paragraph about what the PE teacher should know about helping a student with this condition be successful. Give examples of activities that these students could do.
F. Include a reference section in the APA style with at least 3 references, books or scholarly articles! Just internet articles are not satisfactory. Find some articles in our field. Look at these journals: Palaestra, Adapted Physical Activity Quarterly (APAQ), Strategies, JOPERD. One may be the Winnick textbook. Try to put some research findings into your paper.
