STEP 2: Referring to the lecture materials and Schafer’s 4 C’s of Data Visualization, In your initial post, explain and describe what makes the examples that you chose good or bad examples of data visualization.
• Using pictures/ images that you either find on the internet, or that you draw, show what you perceive to be a Coke person next to a picture of a Pepsi person.
• Describe, both, your Coke person and the Pepsi person
o What are the differences? Is your Coke or Pepsi person more traditional, unique, family-oriented, older, conservative, liberal, active or trendy?
o Do you think that Coke and Pepsi decided, at some point, that they would like to own particular segments of the population?
o Do you think Coke would like to change its image to attract Pepsi people more? Do you think Pepsi would like to change its image to attract Coke people more?
o Are Coke and Pepsi fairly distinct from one another? Is there homogeneity within groups?
o Do most companies divide customers up this way?
