Topics may cover issues outside of the class material, but must center on public administration from a global perspective including global challenges of public administration. Common issues include but are not limited to global competency, local impact of globalization, inclusion, multiculturalism, global citizenship, or leadership from a global perspective.
All topics must be submitted for approval in advance per the individual paper topic summary.
The final Paper must be between 3,000 and 6,000 words in length, double spaced, and should be well sourced, using professional or academic journals.
Wikipedia and similar sources that rely on user-generated information are not acceptable primary source material.
Students should follow American Psychological Association (APA) style (seventh edition)
Individual papers should include the minimum following elements:
a. Cover page with relevant information
b. A clearly defined thesis supported by the paper
c. A review of the relevant literature
d. A logical structure and flow to the topics/ arguments
e. Research supported evidence with a variety of sources that are properly formatted
f. Logical and well-developed arguments
g. Evidence based conclusions
h. Proper grammar, language and style for graduate research work
