we are exploring how climate has changed over Earths history. To complement this we are going to prepare an approximately four-page (double-spaced) paper with a cover page (not included in the length) that addresses how we know what Earths climate has looked like – proxies of climate change. In your paper be sure to include:
An analysis of how at least 3 different proxies for climate work. In this discussion for each one consider:
How it records climatic information.
Over what timescale(s) this method works.
The certainty associated with the method.
Where the method is most appropriate.
Any concerns associated with the methods use.
