Identify and select an educational leader in one of your tracks (Instructional Specialist) of choice to interview. By educational leader, this means someone who helps support others, teaches them, trains them, inspires, etc. Ideally, you will identify someone within your pre-identified tracks from Modules 1 and 2; however, if you need to go outside of your track for this assignment, that is acceptable.

Through your interview and development of a PowerPoint to introduce the Educational Leader you selected, you will:

Explore the Educational Leaders roles and responsibilities and how they choose to lead.

Explain how the Educational Leaders leadership style aligns with research-based styles from the articles read (include citations as appropriate).

Describe how the Educational Leader uses data to design learning objectives.

Understand how the Educational Leader develops learning experiences for others.

Learn how the Educational Leader evaluates their learners to determine mastery level.

Describe how optimism factors into the Educational Leaders decision making and practices, linking it back to the text.

Explain how the Educational Leader successfully advocates for others.
