Article content can relate to a behavior change model, theory, or content that is related to behavior modification that will be discussed in the class.
• Articles must represent scholarly journals from year 2014 to present, scholarly newsletters, textbooks published from year 2014 to present, or a landmark archived article that established the foundation of the research.
• Reference format should follow APA reference guidelines or the reference style that your discipline requires (Campbell’s, Index Medicus).
• Student name and subject need to be listed on the header of first page followed by the reference information.
• Each abstract has two sections that include a summary of the article and a reaction to the article.
o The article summary section follows reference and is a one-half to one page review of the content of the article that is typed in double space in a 12 pitch professional font.
o The article reaction section follows summary and reflects the student’s views on the content of the article and applicability to research topic or specific discipline. This section should by one-half to one page in length.
• An active link to the research article needs to be included with the abstract.
