Project 2: Write a simple finite element code (can be restricted to a few types of elements) in the programming language of your choice. Your code should then be tested on simple problems (such as those done in class, homework, or in the book for easy comparison). Your proposal should include the name of your project, objectives of the project, description of the problem, what you are planning on doing to solve it, the tools required for completion, and a timeline. Make sure you include the programming language or software you will be using, and how you plan on having access to them if they require a license. Writer must provide the below in solving FEM for structure, like bridge, truss, aerospace structure, but the code MUST calculate displacements, stresses etc and also a FEM software like Abaqus or similar to demonstrate … Project 2: The goal of this project is to write simple finite element code using MATLAB, or python or readily available software accompanied with Abaqus to test most of the problems that will be worked on during this class. The ultimate goal is to be able to run the FEM on more complex module during this semester. Therefore, the project will start in the coding such that each module can be solved as the class progress. The coding will be updated consequently so that problems from now to later in the semester can be solved by the unique code and FEM software that will be completed.
