What were your scores for the five conflict modes for each survey?
Discuss the following:
• Any significant differences in the two sets of results
• What the similarities tell you about yourself
• Your primary and secondary conflict modes as shown in the surveys
Did any of these result surprise you? Why or why not? Be specific in your explanation.
How, if at all, would you like to see your conflict style change? Why or why not?
Think back to the last conflict in which you were directly and personally involved with another person or persons. This should be someone in your family, workplace, circle of friends, etc.

What style did the other party or parties use, and how did the two styles impact the way the conflict played out?
How did both you and the other party contribute to the escalation of the conflict?
What was the result of the conflict?
How, if at all, will the knowledge of your primary conflict mode affect your response to future conflict?

Now describe an experience in which your own misinterpretation of another’s words or actions resulted in conflict. Again, your example should be a specific time that you misinterpreted someone else’s words or actions.
