An unaccompanied child (UAC) is the legal term to describe a child who has no immigration status in the United States. They are under the age of eighteen and do not have guardians or families. These children are given certain protections under our immigration laws. The U.S. Department of Health & Human Services along with the Office of Refugee Resettlement has detailed the right of Unaccompanied Children and the Enrollment process requirement for Public schools. The case study question is whether the participants receive meaningfully and equitable service in the educational system.
Rework title relates to whether the UAC participants under the immigration laws are receiving meaningfully and equitable service in the educational system. The research would identify case studies and protocol and procedure methods to evaluate the baseline for meaningful and equitable services.
