Students are to use what they learned to plan a VFR Cross Country flight between departure and
destination points. The destination must be one they have never planned a cross-country to before. The
student must submit the cross-country planning/data sheets to include routing, fuel calculations, time
estimates, weather synopsis, risk factors, NOTAMs, flight restrictions, and any other relevant needs to
execute a cross-country flight (i.e.: weather, NOTAMS, airport information, check points, wind
corrections, frequencies, and flight plan information). The completed Navigation Log and other
information will be scanned/photo and uploaded as an attachment in the assignment link.
