his week we will focus on your individual projects and ChIP Seq analysis. We have looked at gene expression analysis but sequencing is a powerful technique that allows us to look at the genome in a variety of ways. In addition to the transcripome(RNA Seq) it is possible to examine whole genomes including copy number varriation(CNV) and single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNP). Regulation of the genome via histones, transcriiption factors and other nucleotide binding proteins are generally addressed though some sort of immunoprecipitation experiment(ie ChIP Seq). In Weekly Lessons(Week 4 folder) I have placed some examples of ChIP Seq analysis. We will not recreate the code as we have for RNA Seq examples but I do want you to look at it and read about ChIP Seq. Think about how this analysis differs from RNA Seq.
