The film had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival on 15 July 2021, and was given a very limited theatrical release in the United States starting 26 December 2021. It was selected as the Colombian entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 94th Academy Awards, though it was not nominated.[4]on
