Once you have completed the journey map, conduct an interview with a user who is affected by the healthcare challenge your group has identified. For example, if you are focusing in on rural access to emergency care, you would want to interview someone connected to this issue (individual living in a rural area, doctor or care provider working in a rural area, doctor or professor with expertise in healthcare access, etc.). Please be sure to
include relevant demographic information, but the interviewees name should remain anonymous. At the beginning of the interview, please provide a copy of the O-MHM-ENTR-548-Interview-Letter-of-Introduction.pdf document
For the validation interview, ask 2-5 questions that are based on the assumptions you made in your journey map. Be sure to get consent from your interviewee and be transparent about your intentions. It is also important to keep the interview anonymous and inform your interviewee that the information they share will not be tied to their identity.
Write a 2-3 page summary of the interview, including the following information:
1. Brief introduction
2. Interview Questions & Answers
3. Reflections and Insights
