Write about the history of archetypes and what Carl Jung and Joseph Campbell brought to the table. Then explain how this is useful as a filmmaker. We can compare and contrast two movies (Avengers and Kurosawa’s Seven Samurai) and how they use archetypes. Also compares characters such as Jesus Christ and Harry Potter or Luke Skywalker.
