Hello classmate and Professor. One cultural experience that I encountered was a trip to Mexico. It was fantastic. I went to the Mayan ruins with a tour guide, where we spent the day learning about the culture. We swam in a Senate, which was fascinating. The food was delicious and much different then Mexican food in the United States. Seeing the other parts of Mexico and the various communities were terrific. One day we took a boat over to Isla Myers, where it was both beautiful and scary at the same time. I think the tricky part was the unknown and being in a place where you do not know the culture or the language. Mexico was beautiful, and I am so thankful I could experience the culture. – Cathie
