Wigger’s Diagram is a visual representation of the hemodynamics of the cardiovascular system comparing ventricular, atrial, and aortic pressures along with ventricular volume as it relates to an EKG. For instance, at the P wave, the ventricular volume will increase but ventricular pressure will not as the ventricles have not contracted yet to push the blood out into the aorta and the body. At each portion of the EKG, these variables can be described independently and dependently of each other.
