Social work policy centers on attending to a client’s needs; however, certain organizational policies and constraints can dictate how such services are delivered.
In a child welfare agency, are all mothers with young children eligible to receive aid? In a job placement agency, would lack of a permanent address disqualify a client from securing a job?
This week, you explore the organizational policies that each agency implements when delivering services to clients to overcome these and similar challenges.
Write an explanation of organizational policy in your field education experience. My field education is at a hospital. Therefore the organizational policy could be sexual harassment.
