These incidents/conflicts have focused U.S. attention on the Middle East, and this focus has not abated since. Officers, soldiers, and sailors, along with their support personnel, have had to grapple with the significant social and cultural differences that an Islamic region offered. The challenge was significant and consequential.
For this assignment, locate an article in the CSU Online Library that discusses one of the following topics:

Discuss the positive aspects of the article. Think about what the author does well, good points he or she makes, and insightful observations.
Discuss the cultural and social challenges and issues faced by the government and the military regarding the Middle East event.
The conclusion should address the areas below.
Discuss the meaning or implications of the article’s content as well as any flaws you find in the article.
Summarize the main points of the article as well as your opinions about its significance, accuracy, and clarity. If relevant, also comment on implications for further research or discussion in the field.
Your article critique must be at least two pages in length, not counting the title page and references page. You must include your article as a source; however, you may include one additional source, if needed, to supplement your chosen article. Any information from outside sources must be cited and referenced in APA format.
