Write a research literature review paper on that topic or sub-topic, which provides a brief overview of:
the topic and research question
the topics core questions, debates, and issues
research literature and, perhaps, some popular press
the topic’s relevance to game studies (i.e., why is it worth researching?)
why the topic is important to everyday society (i.e. why should we are about it?)
Game studies is a growing area, but there have been dozens of books published over the last two decades along with hundreds of academic articles as well.
