Write a paper on the Consumer Perception on Willingness to Pay (WTP) for Extended Community Pharmacy Services (ECPS)OTHER: Kindly read the comments below as it was reviewed by my professors and they requested these changes:Reviewer 1Background/Introduction: This portion of the article does a good job at explaining the role of pharmacists in UAE and why the need for expanding pharmacists’ roles is necessary. However, the grammar and sentence structure distract from the message. This section needs major changes in order to be acceptable. For example “Data that will be collected from this study would be very useful to policymakers, and healthcare payers in the UAE in setting up a benchmark that would value the extended services delivered by pharmacists.” This sentence should not be part of the introduction. The authors failed to present the objectives of their project. Methods: The section has major flaws. For example, the authors did not state how the survey was developed. The grammar was incorrect throughout. There should be further explanation of the aims for the study that communicates the significance of the aims on the outcomes. The ‘design and setting’ section was vague and did not include specifics of the survey. The survey needs improvement; I recommend eliminating the “optional answer” questions and make them all required. The data anlysis has major flaws by not stating what statistical tests were used. The authors failed to provide key details around the way in which the data was analyzed. Results: The results have major flaws and it is challenging for the reader to interpret. There is no flow to the results section, and it is hard to follow. The sociodemographic data was well thought out but there is concern for there being a substantially more women than men who took the survey. The paragraphs about the findings would also be more fitting to come before the tables themselves.Discussion: The section does not discuss the findings of the study. Delete the word “apparently” that is often used throughout this section; instead, use “as observed” or something of the like. The last sentence of the discussion does not make sense. When discussing the “wide range of factors that determine individuals’ willingness to pay for extended pharmacy services” elaborate on what those factors are. Elaborate on any variables or factors mentioned that could have influenced the study’s results. In the second paragraph of the discussion, provide data that proves the “findings of this research are valuable and are characterized by sufficient validity levels.” What is the p-value? Confidence interval? Conclusion: Weak conclusion. More needs to be discussed in this portion. Where do we go from here? How can we further study this to fix this issue? Do other countries have this same issue and could we study this there?Reviewer 2This study considers an important issue of how the public values pharmaceutical services by evaluating their willingness to pay for them. The Introduction would benefit readers by including a paragraph on the current status of community pharmacy and especially the range of services that are widely available in the UAE. If the public are not familiar with them then it is irrelevant to ask how much they would pay for them.Materials and methods section provides little information on the validation methods used for the questionnaire. The survey distribution does not indicate a s sampling frame but uses undefined links to different social media platforms. Nothing is stated about achieving a random sample. The Data Analysis section needs more detail especially how the regression analysis was performed. The results section does not indicate the response rate, but does state the number of respondents. The characteristics of the sample in Table 1 indicate that there were few respondents of 35 years and older and more than half were single and the majority held a bachelor degree. This does not represent the population groups in many countries that would require many pharmacy services. In most countries people with families or older than 55 years require more pharmacy services. Justification is required that this sample represents the population characteristics of the UAE or is familiar with and able to judge the level of payment that should be tendered for pharmaceutical services. Data in Table 2 provides respondents perceptions showing that less than one-third regularly visit a pharmacy. The data are provided as frequencies and 95% CI. No information is provide on how the CI values were determined. In the section “a view on the community pharmacist” gives only one value when other options were available.. It is unclear what the 95%CI relates to. In Table 3 the overall n = 406 yet under the section “Specific additional services” the respondent numbers are low but the percentage is not based on 406. An explanation should be given. It would seem to indicate that very few respondents (less than about 5%) had received these services. How could the remaining 95% provide a judgement? In Table 4 data is often based on 189 respondents, with more than half not responding. Were their reasons for so much missing data? Further details need to be provided on the regression analyses and whether univariate data were evaluated first. In the Discussion it is stated only 12.81% visit a pharmacy to ask for a pharmacist’s advice. This could be a misleading question (validation of the questionnaire) as in many countries patients rarely go to ask for advice alone, but when accessing another service may well receive advice. In the second paragraph it states that Sadek et al. “suggests UAE pharmacists rarely provide additional services”. If this is correct then surely willingness to pay is irrelevant. Much of the remainder of this section requires literature support for many of the assertions made. In commenting on the regression analyses the assertion is made that a higher level of education might provide deeper knowledge of the benefits of pharmacy services. That might be the case if they were from demographics that regularly visit a pharmacy. Very few of the sample had experienced a pharmacy service.Comments from CustomerPREVIOUS PAPER INSTRUCTIONS (#445454282): Greetings.
