We are learning about many ways health information technology can assist with healthcare delivery and improve healthcare outcomes for patients. There are many innovative technologies, including mobile health apps, wearable devices, and telehealth, that add to the traditional healthcare delivery options.

Describe the selected health information challenge, including how the challenge is currently being addressed, and the desired future state or improvements that can be achieved with use of health information technologies.
Information System Needs and Requirements for the Selected Health Information Challenge:
Describe the technological needs and requirements to address the health information challenge you have selected. Consider data sources and data needs for the technical solution to your challenge. What kind of information systems will be needed to get to the desired future state of your challenge? How will these information systems need to collaborate and exchange data? Who will be the main users of the information systems? What are the security and privacy considerations specific to this challenge? How will success of the information technology solution be measured?
