Research different strategies for assessing students, formatively and summatively. Decide which strategies work well with social studies and compile a resource packet of SS Assessment Strategies. Be sure to include if they are formative or summative and attach a student example for each (this can be teacher made or actual student work with names removed.)
Find at least 3 video clips or articles of assessment strategies in the SS classroom. Summarize your thoughts on the strategies including what you would use in your classroom and why.
