Assigned reading: Chapter 7 (The Media)
When creating this post, you must answer the following questions:
1. How the profit-making motive of the American media impacts their key role in American democracy?
(Read Chapter 7- list the role of the media described in the textbook. Explain in your own words how profit bias impacts the functions of the media in democratic society).
2. Provide one example of framing made by news media you trust or frequently follow.
(Please choose the media you trust. It is of course very easy to recognize framing in media that you disagree with. Make sure to provide concrete examples and not some general assumptions. Explain how the media distorted reality using the framing example you mentioned).
