I’m a final year dentistry student and have to finish my thesis , its a systematic review with Vancouver style references and arial 12 size of the format. The whole thesis should be of 30/40 pages long in total. I Wrote half of it by now including introduction, objectives and materials and methods. I need you to write the other parts which are : results , discussion, conclusion, references/bibliography . The articles i found for my systematic review are 14 , feel free to add few more but not too many either ( like more than 20 ). I would hugely appreciate if you could make your part flow with the first i have made so it looks fluid/connected/cohesive . I give you the instructions we have for these sections that i need you to do : RESULTS 1. – Selection of studies. flowchart – Describes the number of studies screened, evaluated for eligibility and included in the SR. – Detail the reasons for exclusion in the full-text stage (This must be included in the flow-chart). – As an extra added value, create a table, separately, of the articles excluded in the full-text phase with the reason for exclusion. – Make a flow chart. 2. Analysis of the characteristics of the studies reviewed – Presents general results of the characteristics of the studies (that is, of all those variables collected from the studies and that must be described in M&M, but that are not outcome variables). 3. Assessment of methodological quality and risk of bias – In this section the tables of the evaluation of the quality of the studies are put (in M&M it is said which scale is going to be used, and here in results the table is put). – This will depend on the scales that have been used. 4. Synthesis of results – The results are described in the same order as the Objectives appear. – This section therefore describes the Results variables. Namely, those variables that are the Objectives. – Each objective must be described in a subsection (paragraph/s) in Results, separately. – If there are 3 objectives, then there must be 3 subsections. – Text and tables. In the text, each result of each objective is described in a more global and in the tables you see the more detailed data. – Do not repeat information in the text and in the tables. The text must complement The tables. Do not repeat the same information. – There must be bibliographic citations. DISCUSSION – Discuss the main findings, comparing with what was found in other studies (for and against). – Discuss the limitations of the studies and results (strengths and weaknesses). CONCLUSION – Same number of targets. If there are 3 objectives there should be 3 separate conclusion paragraphs. These are the instructions the university gave us , to clarify the results part, i need some tables included (that’s why i added 3 charts in the application request to you) . these tables include : 1 about the CASPE quality of the articles, table about the variables of the articles , table about the findings for each of my objectives . more or less the lenghth of the discussion should be the same as the introduction. the part i wrote is with 1.5 space .just if you could keep in mind my introduction is now 8 pages 1.5 space . i will attach here the part i have made until now plus i will add the 14 articles i found to use for the study . feel free to add some more . the references at the end of the part i wrote are just the info i used to write the introduction so those don’t count as the articles i want to use in my study . the size is arial 12 with upper and lower borders2.5cm and rigt left page borders 3cm.
