Research and data collection plan
• Brief:
o Based on the case selected “The Influence of Leadership on the Impact of the US Centers for Disease Control’s PEPFAR Operation Phuthuma Support Program for HIV Epidemic Control in 12 Priority Districts and the review of the most relevant concepts in the research methodology literature, you need to draft a research and data collection plan.
This document needs to describe and motivate your choice of research methods (interviews, focus groups, choice of literature, observation techniques). It should also include a detailed work plan.
• The Research and Data Collection Plan is the Methodology section of your research paper. As a Master’s student, you need to be able to work on your own and do your own research with regard to how to do a Methodology section. Use the brief (above), use the given rubric (attached), and remember to have a look at the work of MDP students from previous years to guide you.
• The Word Count Range is 3600 – 4400 words. The word count is only for the body of your paper and does not apply to the Cover Page, Declaration Regarding Plagiarism, Table of Contents and Figures, List of References or any Addendums. If you do not adhere to this Word Count Range up to 100% of your mark could be deducted.
