Write a paper based upon your ability to relate any of the readings to your life. Use your life experiences and occupational backgrounds to frame your approach to any idea, theme, or theory noted by any of the authors.
Do not feel compelled to go over many different themes presented in the readings.
You will get no added credit for the number of lessons you talk about from the readings. It is more important for you to pinpoint one idea, theory, or approach suggested by the authors, and use that to discuss your reaction to that idea through the lens of your experience and background.
You are not required to include cites, but if you rely on scholarly authority be sure to cite to the reading(s) and author(s) you have chosen.
A good paper will focus on an idea, and discuss how that idea or approach either confirms or clashes with your views on the issue based on your work experience, academic background, or other experiential lenses.
Formatting: please use double-spacing. I prefer Times New Roman font (size twelve) or its equivalent. You do not need to attach an abstract to the paper.
Personal pronouns are perfectly fine for these papers given that you are speaking from a uniquely individual perspective.
There is no word count requirement for the paper, but I would anticipate your papers to be approximately 2-3 pages.
