While our focus is on the traditional waterfall PM method (which is still used most often and is also the foundation of PMI certification and PMBOK), there are other certifications, methods, and tools that are becoming more popular, especially with regard to managing projects in information systems and information technology.
Further below I have listed a few of those certifications, methods, and tools. I’d like to focus this month on an exploration of a certification, method, or tool that you would like to learn more about. Perhaps there’s a particular PM method or tool that you are currently using in your organization or some certification that is required for project manager positions that you found posted in a job descriiption.
Part1:
Please explore a PM certification, method, or tool of interest and provide a brief review (approx. 250 words). In the review, provide the name, descriiption, and something unique that you found interesting about the certification/method/tool. Feel free to include a link to more information as well.
