You are sitting at a bus stop. Sitting next to you is a 6-year-old child and their parent. The 6-year-old turns to you and asks:
why is the desert hot and only have a little bit of water?
why do frogs have so many babies at once?
Considering the material we have covered over the last two weeks (physical environment/biosphere and population ecology), and after you have consent from the parent, how do you answer the child’s questions in an age-appropriate manner?
