Write a response that makes an arguable claim about Anecdote of the Jar. Your paper should have three recognizable sections that answer the following three questions:
1) What? State A) what happens in the text and B) what you will claim about it. (This is a brief 3-4 sentence summary of your selected text + your personal perspective/argument about some portion of the text.)
2) How? Using specific, detailed language, explain at least two literary techniques that the author employs.
3) So what? What can be learned/realized from reading this text?
For section 3, you discuss possible cultural/historical subtexts that can be accessed through a close reading of the primary text
