The goal of this written assignment is to create a Panopto video narrated PowerPoint presentation on ONE of the following Bioethics Topics:
Public Health Ethics Topics
Care rationing
Care prioritization (think of COVID-19 Vaccine administration)
Clinical Ethics Topics
Ethics at the End of Life
Ethics of Genetic Testing (think in terms of insurance/criminal charges, etc.)
Ethical Competence of Nurses
Research Ethics Topics
Embryos donation for research
Research on Vulnerable Populations
Participatory initiatives (think in terms of COVID-19 vaccine trial participants)
Students will first create a PowerPoint presentation. Next, students will use the Canvas course Panopto platform to record the video narration for their Powerpoint presentation.
The video below provides step-by-step instructions for how to create and submit a Panopto recording to an assignment in Canvas.
Panopto videos should be saved using the student name and saved to the 2022 NUR 4286 course folder. Once saved to the folder, the recording is linked to the Bioethics Assignment. No additional uploads should occur to the assignment.
