look at 2 objects. One would have to come from
Germany, the other should come from another
country (US might be easiest, but feel free to
draw on any country/culture that you have
studied or are familiar with).
In 3-4 pages please do the following:
1.) Describe each object
2.) Reflect on what sort of memorial program is
contained in this object
3.) Reflect on the aesthetic aspects of the
object is it supposed to be beautiful in spite
of its memorial character, or is remembrance the
whole point?
