Develop a line item with dollar values and justifications budget for a small agency. The line item (about 15 items) budget dollar amounts on a table showing the agency line items (e.g., supplies, salaries, worker benefits, etc.) plus the past year (PY) amounts, the current year (CY) amounts, the recommended amounts for the budget year (BY), and the difference between the BY – CY. In addition, for each change from current to budget amounts, a brief (one or two sentences) written justification for the amounts in the BY – CY column is required. The justification can be in an extra column or be after the table.
Create a table with the 15 line items in the first column. The other columns are PY, CY, BY, and BY-CY. Then you will need to write one or two sentences to justify the amounts in the BY-CY column.
