Case Study Overview:
For your case study assignment, you will be reading an assigned case study about a company that implemented an organizational change intervention. You will then research the type of change implemented in the organization to assess how the companies approach aligns with research.
For this week 3 case study you will be reading the case “Nationwide Brokerage Solutions: Using Positivity to Drive Productivity.” The case has three parts: Challenge, Action, Result. Read the case in its entirety before beginning your research or paper.
Paper Prompt:
For your paper, answer the following two questions. (Be sure to label the sections in your paper with the section headers below.)
Research – What research has been done that addresses the challenge faced by the organization in this case? Find a minimum of three scholarly articles that address this issue and discuss the research as it applies to this organizations challenge.
Intervention Analysis – Based on the research you found addressing the challenge, do you agree with the actions taken by the organization in this case?
If you agree with the actions taken based on your research, what do you think were the critical intervention features that led to success?
If you disagree with the actions taken based on your research, what changes would you make in the interventions design or implementation?
