In 4500 words, you will need to address the following: (a) a specific education innovation we should be paying attention to one you would want to put your effort/resources into now or one you would want to develop; or (b) a trend we should be paying attention to that you think will impact our work in the future. The innovation or trend you discuss must align with one of the topics of this course, (i.e. Multiculturalism, Privatization, Social Capital, Leadership, Policy, Diversity, Equity, and/or Inclusion).

STEP TWO: You will pick 1 out of the 2 options below:
a. For an innovation:
i. The problem it addresses
ii. The need for the innovation (if we dont address the problem now, what might happen)
iii. The specific innovation (describe what is, how it works, where it is being used, etc.)
iv. Evidence of the potential for success
v. Resources required
vi. Limitations
b. For a trend:
i. What the trend is
ii. The evidence this is a trend and not a fad
iii. What opportunities or challenges it presents (if we take advantage of the trend, what will we gain? If we ignore it, what are the consequences?)
iv. The implications for our work
v. Your recommendations regarding what we should do next
STEP THREE: Your reflective case study is to examine an Innovation or Trend in one of the OECD countries that addresses the areas of this course. Your response must align to the learning outcomes and objectives of this course.
