I did 1 year of internship at the hopital Aleman from March 20018 till March 2019. Here I rotated through Pediatrics, Surgery, OBGYN, Psychiatry, Community Heath. I was able to have hands on experience as a doctor and learned a tremendous amount of knowledge in the process. I also did a research project about the Limitation of exclusive breast feeding and its nutritional effect on children less than 1 year old. The research poject was published by the Revista Torreon Universitario on May 2021 and it will also be published in Spain by Snejana Ciobanu editorial academica espanola. Iam currently working as a Nurse Practitioner or mid level provider in Miami FL in a clinic where I am able to keep my clinical skills and medical knowledge up to date. I am hard working, determined, and compassionate, therefore I believe I can be of great asset to the DO program, and it would be an honor to be able to be a part of the NYIT DO team.
