This semester we have consistently been exploring the many facets of answering the question, what does it mean to make communication central, rather than peripheral? To consider how communication is the process by which we create our lives? In this final reflection, I want you to explore and explicate the impact Communication Theory and Media Studies have had on your understanding of the intersection of self and communication. Select a theory or concept from the semester that impacted you the most in your:
Personal life
[future] Professional life
Public/Civic life
You can use the same concept more than once but it should be uniquely applied to each facet of your life. When introducing a theory or concept make sure to clearly define it and provide appropriate citations for your sources. Clearly label each of the 3 sections with headers.
