As you know, I have a research proposal entitled: Storytelling, Listening and Speaking of Arabic Language Learners Aged six in a Saudi Arabian Kindergarten Classroom. Another research proposal is:Oral Storytelling as a Strategy to Increase Oral Language Proficiency of Arabic Second Language Learners in a Saudi Arabian Kindergarten Classroom I would like to assure you that the approved a research proposal entitled: Storytelling, Listening and Speaking of Arabic Language Learners Aged six in a Saudi Arabian Kindergarten Classroom. Therefore, we can benefit from the two proposals with each other according to the following conditions: the main question will be : How do children and teachers negotiate storytelling as part of an Arabic lesson in an international kindergarten in Saudi Arabia? the first sub question will be : 1- how does the teacher in these lessons scaffold the children’s participation in storytelling and the associated Arabic learning opportunities? the second sub-question will be : 2- How did the children negotiate meaning in these Lessons? You should delete the Matrix developed by Spradley (1980) and the observation schedule. The supervisor says we don’t need it and we will be satisfied with the (video camera) that records everything in the class as well as the (camera pro) that the teacher wears to record the reactions of the children and the (Teacher Interview Protocol).
