Given the current political environment and situation in America today the paper should attempt to develop a political leadership profile that is necessary to bring this country back together again. What are the attributes, characteristics, strengths and weaknesses a political leader should demonstrate and would be needed to begin a healing process. This political leadership profile does not need to be a single individual only but maybe a leadership group profile. Within the profile use of examples are very much welcomed and encouraged, ranging from again an individual example of leadership, historical or current, thru social movements, were leadership attributes are demonstrated in group behavior. The paper must explain why this profile demonstrates political leadership attributes to meet the healing need. Also, the paper needs to make an argument why this particular example(s) should be considered in the academic study of leadership. What is so unique or significant? Do remember we are not only looking at morally correct political leadership examples but effective as well. To develop this paper, you may want to consider using each lesson short paper as a development piece for the final concept paper.
The final concept paper should be at least ten pages.(double-spaced). In this paper, students will apply leadership concepts from the readings, as well as additional research. The paper needs to incorporate the Kellerman leadership model as a means of analysis but also demonstrate individual insight and analytical skills in the development of the political leadership profile.
At the end of Kellerman’s text, is an extensive list of references also textual material from the Leadership Handbook as well as any supplement materials should be used as a source in your research as you develop the paper.
