Write a Persuasive Speech on how to change the behavior or beliefs of your classmates. In the speech, you should present information on a topic that is new, and not reiterate the same arguments that have been presented by other people or the media. Oral footnotes need to include Who, What, and When information. Visual aids can be used. This speech is 8-10 minutes. Your main responsibility in a persuasive speech will be to use research in an ethical and appropriate manner in order to create an argument based on emotion, credibility, and logic that support your point of view. 1) Thesis/Specific Purpose Statements: You will identify the specific rhetorical purpose of the speech.
