Try to find an article that speaks to the field in general: what is the field? How did this field become a field? Why is this field important? How does this field understand objects of study? What tools does this field use? Where are these tools gathered/created? You will need to find 2 articles from the discipline of your choice that provides you with enough information that you can borrow: formats, wording, organization, tone, disciplinary language, any other writing convention that is used to persuade, etc..
You will also need to include a visual aspect of some kind. Does your field use graphs? Equations? Charts? Pictures? We will begin breaking down multi-modality to better understand how to incorporate your visuals and overall document design functions.
Lastly, you will write a 1 page reflection regarding which parts of this assignment you will be able to take with you into your future classes.
