QUESTION: Write an essay in which you compare these two stories. For each story do the following:
a) Identify the narrator of the story.
b) Discuss the narrator’s use of symbolic language. Give examples and say what it means.
c) Conclude with a paragraph explaining how the narrator’s use of symbolic language shapes the readers’ understanding of the conflict that the central character experiences.
NOTE: Use descriiptions of significant details in the story, including quotations, to support your main points in each paragraph. The paper must not be divided into parts, but should be written as one continuous composition.
