Give a brief introduction about your workshop. Be sure to include what the workshop is about, why it is important, who it is for, how many participants you will allow, and why are you focusing on this particular group
Start a new paragraph and include when and where you would present your workshop. You do not have to give a specific address, but do include the type of facility where you would present. Be descriptive and explain why this location would be ideal for your workshop topic.
In this next paragraph of your introduction, you will list your goals. State how many goals should you have and then list them in narrative form. By the end of this workshop, the participants will be able to…(do this for all goals, change your wording around so it is a good read)
Next, you will start to give details about your workshop. The next several paragraphs should include how you will begin your workshop. What is the setting / environment as participants enter the meeting location? If using small groups from the beginning, how will you divide them easily? Welcome and introduction of facilitators. For each of these questions, you should give full details, who will greet the participants, what part will each member play?
Icebreaker – What icebreaker will you use? For the Icebreaker, you need to include the name, and full directions. You should also include who will facilitate the icebreaker and what part they will play (this part should have a script with what each person will say and do. (See one of the other workshop examples for more guidance).
Continue with the flow of your workshop. What topics are being presented? Give the specific order with full details and include who will present each topic. Be sure you include at least two different activities during your workshop and give full details about each. Activities could be small group to large group discussion, hands on skills, a game to enhance the key points, etc. Again, this section should be very detailed, and will follow the flow of your workshop. It should be written so anyone who reads it could replicate and present the same workshop
closure: In this section, you should include how you plan on ending your workshop?
