Organization – information presented in a logical and interesting sequence, good overall flow
Mechanics – spelling and grammar, punctuation, paragraph format, paraphrased appropriately, appropriate word choice/vocabulary, well-written, appropriate tone and style
References – credible sources, appropriately formatted, alphabetical order
Citations – appropriate citations wherever required, properly formatted in narrative or parenthetical format, quotes cited appropriately
Formatting
Properly formatted title page
At the top of first page of text, type the title of the paper, centered, in bold, same casing as title page
Double-spaced
Appropriate font choice/size (generally size 11 or 12, a legible font like Calibri, Arial or Times New Roman)
Properly formatted references page (also make sure your References page also has References written as a heading)
Properly formatted in-text citations
Any additional required formatting if incorporating elements such as tables, figures, additional headings, etc.
Word count – 1000-2000 words
Must be submitted as a Word document
