Environmental Health (EH) Issue Fact Sheet This individual assignment requires students to create a Fact sheet on the topics they were
assigned in the beginning of the semester. Since this assignment targets lay audiences, make it
easy for the average American to be educated on the Environmental health topic by making it
colorful and using images. Examples of Fact sheets are found in this week’s module on Canvas.
The Fact Sheet should include at a minimum:
Title
An explanation of what the Environmental Health Issue is and the who, what, when,
how of the issue.
If it is a hazardous substance, what happens when the substance enters the environment?
Description of how humans can be exposed, symptoms, and the health effects.
How to avoid exposure and what to do if exposed.
Summary
A section of references that those interested can access for more information
Pay attention to how it is presented (how it looks and overall quality)
