Format: 12-point, Times New Roman font, “regular” margins, double-spaced. Name, date, class info on top left corner of first page.
Identify the thesis. Simply write Thesis: “……………………….” and quote the actual thesis from the article. You don’t need to cite the thesis.
Summarize the article. In 1-2 pages – no more than 2 – summarize the entire article. DO NOT USE QUOTES. DO NOT PLAGIARIZE.
Make two lists. Label the first list “Primary Sources,” and the second list “Secondary Sources.” List each citation in notes 3,5,8,9, and 24 in the appropriate list.
Assess yourself using the rubric. The rubric is posted on Canvas under the Files tab. Please be as honest/accurate as possible in assessing yourself: read the descriptions for each score and be ready, if asked, to justify why you chose that score.
Submit all parts as one document as a word file.
